Copyright Notice & Takedown Policy

IPTVCore respects intellectual property rights and takes legitimate copyright concerns seriously.

This policy explains how rights holders and their authorized representatives can report material referenced or made accessible through iptvcore.com, how we review those reports, and how affected parties can dispute a removal or restriction.

To the extent the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act applies, we review valid notices under Section 512 of the DMCA. For services and users in Switzerland, reports may also be assessed under applicable Swiss copyright law and other relevant legislation.

How to Submit a Copyright Report

Information Required

Your copyright report should include:

1. Your Contact Details

Provide:

  • Your full legal name.
  • The organization or rights holder you're representing, if applicable.
  • Your email address.
  • Your phone number.
  • Your postal address.
  • Confirmation that you own the rights involved or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

2. Identification of the Protected Work

Clearly identify the copyrighted work or intellectual property you believe has been infringed.

If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list, as long as each item can be clearly identified.

Include, where available, supporting information such as:

  • The title of the work.
  • The original publisher or rights holder.
  • Registration details, if any.
  • Official source URLs.
  • Licence or ownership evidence.
  • Screenshots or other relevant evidence.

3. Location of the Reported Material

Identify the allegedly infringing material precisely enough that we can locate and assess it.

Include, where applicable:

  • The exact iptvcore.com URL.
  • The page title.
  • The relevant text, image, logo, link, or reference.
  • A screenshot showing the reported material.
  • A channel or content title.
  • Any other specific identifying information.

General statements like "your website infringes my rights" may not be sufficient without precise URLs or other information that lets us locate the material.

4. Explanation of the Complaint

Explain:

  • Why you believe the material infringes your rights.
  • What rights you own or represent.
  • Why the reported use isn't authorized.
  • Whether you've previously contacted any other relevant party.
  • What action you're requesting from IPTVCore.

5. Required Statements

Include a statement confirming, in substance, that:

  • You have a good-faith belief that the disputed use isn't authorized by the rights holder, their representative, or applicable law.

If a formal DMCA notice is intended, include all statements and information required under 17 U.S.C. §512, plus your physical or electronic signature. Official DMCA procedures require specific identification information, good-faith and accuracy statements, and a signature.

6. Signature

Provide your physical or valid electronic signature.

Typing your full legal name at the end of the email can, where legally permitted, serve as an electronic signature.

Copyright Review Process

1. Report Received

We acknowledge receipt where reasonably possible and check whether the report contains sufficient information to begin an investigation.

2. Initial Review

We check:

  • Whether the complainant has identified themselves.
  • Whether the relevant right and material are clearly identified.
  • Whether the reported material is accessible through or controlled by IPTVCore.
  • Whether the report provides a reasonable legal and factual basis.
  • Whether the requested action is technically and legally possible.

3. Additional Information

If the report is incomplete, we may ask for clarification, proof of authority, proof of ownership, or a more precise URL.

Review may remain paused until the required information is provided.

4. Appropriate Action

If a complaint appears well-founded, we may take proportionate action, such as removing or correcting website content, disabling a specific reference, or contacting the affected party.

Any action should target the specifically identified material and shouldn't unnecessarily restrict unrelated lawful information.

5. Notification

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may notify the person or party affected by the complaint and give them an opportunity to respond.

Response Time Commitment

IPTVCore aims to acknowledge complete copyright reports as quickly as reasonably possible.

Urgent and well-documented complaints are prioritized. We don't, however, guarantee that every complaint will be fully reviewed or resolved within 24 hours.

The time needed depends on:

  • How complete the report is.
  • The number of items reported.
  • The complexity of the ownership or licensing question.
  • Whether additional information is needed.
  • Whether third parties need to be contacted.
  • Applicable legal and procedural requirements.

Avoiding a fixed 24-hour guarantee prevents promising a timeframe that might not be achievable for a legally complex complaint, while still committing to prompt, careful handling.

False, Misleading, or Abusive Claims

Don't submit a copyright report if you know that:

  • You don't own or represent the relevant rights.
  • The identified material doesn't exist on IPTVCore.
  • The disputed use is authorized.
  • The claim materially misrepresents the relevant facts.
  • The report is intended to harass, intimidate, suppress lawful expression, or disrupt a competitor.

A person who knowingly submits a materially false DMCA notice or counter-notification may be liable under Section 512(f), to the extent US law applies.

You should get independent legal advice before submitting a report if you're unsure about ownership, licensing, fair use, quotation rights, permitted uses, or another legal exception.

Counter-Notification and Dispute

A person who believes material was mistakenly removed, corrected, or restricted may submit a response or counter-notification to:

The response should include:

  • Your full legal name.
  • Your email address, phone number, and postal address.
  • Identification of the material affected.
  • The URL or location where the material appeared.
  • An explanation of why you believe the action was mistaken or unjustified.
  • Any evidence of ownership, authorization, licence, permission, or lawful use.
  • A statement that the information submitted is accurate and provided in good faith.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

If a formal DMCA counter-notification is intended, the sender must also provide the jurisdiction and service-of-process statements required under US law. A valid DMCA counter-notification can trigger a statutory process under which material may be restored after 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a qualifying court action.

For Swiss matters, we may handle the response through applicable notice-and-action procedures, complaint mechanisms, courts, or alternative dispute resolution, instead of the American DMCA counter-notification process.

Material Outside Our Control

IPTVCore may not be able to remove material that:

  • Is hosted entirely by an independent third party.
  • Appears on a third-party application or website.
  • Is controlled by a broadcaster, hosting provider, search engine, social platform, or external service.
  • Can't be identified from the information provided.

Where appropriate, we may direct the complainant to the party that controls the material.

We won't claim to host or control third-party content when that isn't actually the case.

No Admission of Fault

Reviewing, forwarding, restricting, correcting, or removing material in response to a complaint doesn't constitute an admission of infringement, ownership, liability, or wrongdoing.

Equally, declining or delaying action doesn't constitute a finding that the disputed use is lawful.
